Anna works with each member of the Word Marketing team to ensure exceptional communicating with clients, and that they are receiving the one-on-one personal service they deserve. She also works extensively in the creative department producing scripts, web copy and various graphic design projects. Anna has nine years combined experience in television and radio strategy, with three years in television and six years in radio marketing and promotions. As Marketing Director for a large Mid-Missouri radio group she handled outside marketing buys, internal promotions, special events and charity and community initiatives for nine radio stations in Columbia, Jefferson City and Fulton. Anna is also a graduate of the Wizard Academy Advertising and Communications school in Austin, Texas with three months of intensive study of “How to Write Powerfully and Clearly”. Helping people in the Columbia community has been a large part of Anna’s personal life. As Vice-President of the Columbia Safe Kids Coalition she worked diligently to establish the coalition, obtain funding and C3 status, and develop the bylaws. She was also a charter member of the Columbia Safe Crib Project, and a Fundraising Coordinator for the Boys and Girls Club of Columbia, organizing media promotions and event planning. Currently, Anna is an Executive Member of Emerging Professionals of Columbia and was active in the inception of this division of the Columbia Chamber of Commerce. She is also an active member of the Columbia Jaycees and was awarded Jaycee of the Year for 2007. |
